"Pay at Court" payment option Filers in electronically filed cases will no longer be able to pay
filing fees by submission of payment in person at the office of the County Clerk.
Effective 8/1/2011: New York County Supreme Court
Effective 9/1/2011: Kings County Supreme Court
The "pay at court" option in NYSCEF will be deactivated in those counties
listed above, on the date indicated. Thereafter County Clerk's Offices in those counties will only accept
payment online via NYSCEF by means of a credit card or bank card bearing a Visa or Mastercard logo.
It is expected that in the near future the County Clerk of each county will also be in a position to accept
payment of fees online via NYSCEF by American Express credit card. An additional e-check option for payment
is also being considered.
New NYSCEF Functionality Please take notice that the NYSCEF Case Select screens have been modified to reflect more specific case type options.
In addition the system now has the ability to generate a Request for Judicial Intervention ( RJI ) for any Attorney filer. The NYSCEF Screens have been modified to reflect a new required data collection procedure that all filers will encounter when filing an RJI.
Online (half-hour) demonstrations of this new functionality are scheduled twice daily at 10am and 2pm on November 30th, December 2nd & December 4th.
