  1. "Pay at Court" payment option
    Filers in electronically filed cases will no longer be able to pay filing fees by submission of payment in person at the office of the County Clerk.

    Effective 8/1/2011: New York County Supreme Court
    Effective 9/1/2011: Kings County Supreme Court

    The "pay at court" option in NYSCEF will be deactivated in those counties listed above, on the date indicated. Thereafter County Clerk's Offices in those counties will only accept payment online via NYSCEF by means of a credit card or bank card bearing a Visa or Mastercard logo.

    It is expected that in the near future the County Clerk of each county will also be in a position to accept payment of fees online via NYSCEF by American Express credit card. An additional e-check option for payment is also being considered.


  1. NYSCEF Filing Advisory - Mandatory Redaction
    On March 1, 2015 Compliance with Uniform Rule 202.5(e)- Omission or Redaction of Confidential Personal Information became <b>MANDATORY</b>. </p> </p>The NYSCEF screens have been modified to allow an indication of redaction whenever you file a document that contains Confidential Personal Information (CPI ) <u>as defined in 22 NYCRR 202.5(e)(1)</u>, and/or an indication for the filing of an un-redacted document where such filing is pursuant to a court order.   2. Mandatory Efiling in Queens County Supreme Court Foreclosure Actions
    Pursuant to Administrative Order - Effective March 23, 2015 E-Filing is Mandatory in Queens County Supreme Court for all newly commenced foreclosure actions. In addition, a second administrative order (AO/059/15) requires that in Queens County two new documents (attached as exhibits A and B to the administrative order) be personally served, along with the commencement documents, upon parties in a residential foreclosure action subject to mandatory e-filing.
